LUXE FILMS IN DETAIL

In Luxe Films, Director Cradeaux Alexander’s and Producer Rohan Quine’s specialty is elevated horror and dark mystery, with existential themes and a focus on distinctive characters, unfolding through dramas steeped in an atmosphere of mystery, terror and the supernatural. Luxe locates authentic horror within internal psychological plights, mining dread from universally relatable takes on personal and professional and family relationships. Each of Luxe’s two partners brings 20+ years of experience, in New York, Los Angeles and London: L.A. native Cradeaux in directing/acting/writing in theatre and film, with an education that includes the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and a doctorate from the Royal College of Art; and London native Rohan in acting and producing in film, writing fiction and performing audiobooks and video-books, with a degree from Cambridge University. Writing and producing original stories, we create provocative filmed entertainment for a global audience that comprises three demographics: Horror Fans (who will embrace Luxe Films’ upcoming psychological horror feature film Devil in the Wings for its inventively infernal take on the evergreen theme of possession); Drama-lovers (because of the psychological authenticity of the film’s dramatic interactions); and an LGBTQ+ audience (because of the film’s non-mainstream sensibility, centred on its central gay relationship).
