Synopsis
While re-evaluating his well-established theatrical career, Mark gets word that his long-lost uncle has died. As the sole heir, he has inherited his uncle’s half-derelict house in an obscure suburb. Entering this tired suburban structure to sort out his family's ghosts, he is pursued by his own, and encounters Michael – a surreal visitor who seeps into the house and into Mark’s dreams. Through a series of dark provocations, Michael makes Mark question his own reality beyond the fictional world of the stage. Is this retreat into familial duty, amid the deadness of his family's past, really an excuse for Mark to retreat into a backstage performance? Will he manage to escape these dead ghosts, to return to the spotlight?
